Culture & Arts

Preserving local heritage and nurturing creativity through folk arts, cultural festivals, and youth expression programmes.

Preserving Heritage & Fostering Community Unity

A healthy community thrives not only on physical resources but also on its soul, its shared history, and its creative expressions. With rapid urbanization, tribal folk arts and regional music are rapidly disappearing in Nashik, leaving youth disconnected. Our Culture & Arts program acts as a bridge to preserve heritage and build togetherness.

"Art and folk theater are the most ancient forms of social dialogue. When communities gather to sing and paint, they dissolve divisions and discover unity." — Folk Artist Coordinator, Nashik

Creative & Community Circles

  • Lok Kala Mahotsav (Folk Festival): Staging large folk festivals highlighting Gondhal, Lezim, and Warli art, providing native artists with stage spaces and stipends.
  • Nukkad Natak (Street Plays): Empowering community youth to write, produce, and enact educational street plays about local water conservation, literacy, and medical sanitation.
  • Art & Expression Workshops: Organizing weekend painting, clay-sculpting, and tribal percussion workshops for rural schoolchildren to discover their creativity.
