These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website of Rainbow Foundation, a public charitable trust registered in Nashik, Maharashtra, India (Reg No: F-26689/Nagpur under BPT Act 1950, and Section 12AA of the Income Tax Act, 1961, URN: 641/144/2017-18). By accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

About Rainbow Foundation

Rainbow Foundation is a registered public charitable trust operating under the laws of India. We work in the areas of education, healthcare, water conservation, women's empowerment, and community development, primarily in and around Nashik, Maharashtra. Donations made to us are eligible for a deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Use of the Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the site in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
  • Transmit unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its related systems.
  • Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious or harmful material.
  • Impersonate Rainbow Foundation or any of its staff, volunteers, or beneficiaries.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to harvest data from the site without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user we believe is violating these Terms.

Donations

3.1 Voluntary nature All donations made through this website are voluntary. By donating, you confirm that the funds are from lawful sources and that you are the owner of the bank account or card used.

3.2 Processing Donations are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. Rainbow Foundation does not store your full payment card details. Your payment is subject to Razorpay's terms of service and privacy policy.

3.3 80G receipts Donors who provide a valid PAN number will receive an official 80G tax-exemption receipt by email. It is your responsibility to provide accurate personal details (name, address, PAN) for the receipt to be valid.

3.4 Use of funds Rainbow Foundation will use donations for its charitable programmes as described on this website. We publish annual reports and financial accounts on the Transparency page for donor accountability.

3.5 Foreign donations Foreign contributions are accepted only in compliance with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA). If you are donating from outside India, please contact us at info@rainbowfoundationindia.org before proceeding.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, graphics, logos, videos, programme descriptions, and the Rainbow Foundation name and logo — is the property of Rainbow Foundation or its content contributors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You may share links to our content and reproduce short extracts for non-commercial, educational, or journalistic purposes, provided you clearly attribute Rainbow Foundation and include a link back to the original page. Any other use requires our prior written permission.
